Why Uganda?
Over 70% of Uganda’s population is under 30 (World Bank, 2023). This youth metric represents both a challenge and an opportunity.
Only 26% of Ugandans use the internet regularly (ITU, 2022).
Closing this digital divide is critical.
Women remain underrepresented in STEM- less than 30% of science and technology graduates.
AI and digital tools have the potential to transform key sectors like agriculture, education, and healthcare. Equitable access to knowledge and energy is the missing link.
