What is it?

The SHE IS AI Global Advisory Council is a collective of visionary leaders shaping the future of AI with integrity, inclusivity, and courage.

Formed in Jan 2025, this voluntary, non-governing body brings together educators, technologists, strategists, creatives, researchers, ethics, governance, cyber security and policy experts from across the globe.

Together, we provide strategic insight, thought leadership, and support to ensure AI evolves as a human-centered, ethical, inclusive force for good.

A think tank and catalyst for change advising SHE IS AI’s initiatives across education, governance, ethics, creativity, and innovation.

A voluntary, pro bono council of global experts committed to shaping the future of AI responsibly.

A platform for collaboration where diverse voices co-create solutions, publications, and campaigns with real-world impact.

How We Create Change

Council members contribute through strategic insight, global expertise, and visionary collaboration. Their work spans publishing thought leadership across SHE IS AI Magazine and the Newsroom and beyond, leading courses and masterclasses within the SHE IS AI Academy, and representing the community at global summits, media features, and UN initiatives.

We also develop policies, guides, manuals, white papers, and research that shape the conversation around responsible innovation, while actively supporting our AI for Good and Global South Education programs.

Council Leadership

The SHE IS AI Global Advisory Council is chaired by Ricquel Harper, a leading voice in AI education, ethics, and governance. The Council is facilitated by CEO Amanda Jeffs and supported by twenty-six expert members representing a diverse network of global advisors. Together, they guide the strategic direction of SHE IS AI’s initiatives and thought leadership, ensuring every endeavor aligns with our values, vision, and commitment to shaping ethical, human-centered AI for the world.
